Mobile Travel Assitant

Mobile Travel Assitent ScreenshotAs a project for the lecture "Mobile Interaction Design" we developed a mock-up for a Travel Assistant application. It is supposed to run on a mobile phone with a touchscreen, an GPS module and connection to the internet. It should be seen as an extension of an web-platform for the mobile context.

Roughly it provides 4 modules:

  1. Find a route
  2. Find Locations (Hotels, Restaurants, Sights)
  3. Mobile Microblog
  4. Photo Management

You can try it here (Firefox recommended).

JamGuide - An iPhone optimized Website

JamGuide Screenshot During winter term 07/08 the iPhone was released in Germany. It inspired me to build a website specifically for this device. I tried to make the website work like the iPhone applications, so I implemented some effects using JavaScript.

You can try out the website if you have the Safari Browser under http://valderama.net/iphone/

Alternatively you can watch a demo video on YouTube here.
