Database of digital art

in

since a while the compArt data base of digital art is online. the data base is developed and filled by the compart group around frieder nake at the university of bremen. the online interface is based on drupal and was designed and implemented by me as a practical part of my master thesis.

its still unfinished, therefor feedback is even more appreciated as usually :)

Bremen got snowed up

Yesterday, on Friday the 21st of November, Bremen got snowed up. It's the biggest amout of snow I ever saw in Bremen and I think also for people who live in Bremen for a longer time it's special. When I woke up this morning everything was white and the sun was shining. So I decided to make a walk and shoot some photos. And there it was, the Winter-Fairytale: Children making snowman, a father who took his child for sledging... Of course there were also indicators of the bad side of snow, like cars which got stuck and yes, also wet feet :(

By the way, and mainly for all Austrians, the amount of snow we are talking about: 10cm. Aaaaaaaamaaaaaazing ;)

Ryanair: Bremen - Salzburg

in

Ryanair estabablished a new connection from Bremen to Salzburg. But, so schnö host koa nit schaun kenna, they changed their plans: All Bre-Sbg flights between 3.6. and 25.10. are cancelled.

But still Tuifly has some good offers from Hannover/Hamburg to Klagenfurt/Salzburg.

so there are no excuses for not visiting us in bremen :)
